NOTES

  1. Jane was the younger daughter of Ffinloe Mcylleriah & Ellin Stoell, born in the 1630s
  2. Her mother died 1643; father 1650
  3. Sister Katherine married Thomas Quayle 1654
  4. Uncle John Mylrea married Ellin Bell 1650; John died 1654 & Ellin 1682
  5. Aunt Ellin Mylrea married Thomas Bell 1649
  6. Her grandmother was probably Ales (Ales) Milera als Bell who died 1646; great grandmother Annas McIllrea als Quain
  7. Jane's Power of Attorney is perplexing since it would have died with her, so she must have used it to enable her brother in law to collect the monies owing. There is no record of her death in the decade following this POA
  8. The additional information given in the Will Summaries must have come from the 1657 will of William Mylrea. Until the document is transcribed, the link between William & Jane cannot be made as no William is mentioned in the will of Ales Bell, the putative grandmother of Jane
  9. There is much about the Malew Mylreas of the 1600s and early 1700s that does not hang together so extreme caution must be exercised
